1. Phi Phi Islands, Thailand
Because you've probably figured by now that Thailand has some gorgeous beaches and that I like the nation, I'm going to add another great Thai beach spot to this list.
Because of Leonardo di Caprio's "The Beach," which was filmed in Maya Bay in Phi Phi Lei and is regarded as an epic travel film, the Phi Phi Islands have gained popularity as a tourist destination.
Due to over-tourism, Maya Bay is currently restricted to visitors, however, the other Phi Phi Islands are still accessible.
Moreover, Koh Phi Phi Don is a completely pedestrian-only island where you may unwind and take it easy. You can take a day trip tour if you don't want to stay the night (which I think you should).
2. Cinque Terre, Italy
While the Sentiero Azzurro, a well-known cliffside hiking route that connects Monterosso to Riomaggiore and passes through the Italian villages of Vernazza, Manarola, and Corniglia along the way, is the Cinque Terre's most recognized feature, the region is also home to some absolutely magnificent beaches.
The majority of the beaches lack white sand and are instead rocky, yet the sea is very clear. You have a winner when you combine those two elements with Cinque Terre's stunning backdrop of colored buildings.
A sailing excursion is a fun way to enjoy Cinque Terre's beaches and waters. You may bathe in the water while admiring the stunning coastline and vibrant buildings.
One of the top Instagram locations is the colorful Cinque Terre cottages next to the blue water. Here are some ideas for great beach phrases to use as captions for your holiday images.
3. Surin Islands, Thailand
The Surin Islands, which are always in Thailand, are extremely comparable to the Similan Islands but are less visited.
The only overnight accommodations available in the Surin Islands are live-aboard dive boats or camping on the beach. The islands don't even have hotels. As an alternative, you may go on a day trip.
The Surin Islands provide the perfect island atmosphere, smooth white sand, beautiful turquoise sea, diverse marine flora and fauna with plenty of corals and fish, and mangrove forests.
4. Tenerife, Canary Islands
I may have fallen in love with Fuerteventura first among the Canary Islands, but it wasn't the only one. As Tenerife enjoys mild weather and plenty of sunshine all year long, it is a particularly popular winter sun resort. Having said that, it's a terrific summer beach location.
In contrast to Tenerife in the winter, summertime visitors may expect pleasant weather. You may travel to the northern volcanic black sand beaches or the man-made golden sand beaches (with sand imported from the Desert!).
You can combine your beach vacation with some interesting activities in Tenerife thanks to the island's abundance of excellent hikes and other activities. A trip to Mount Teide is a must on any itinerary for Tenerife!
You'll be astonished by the fantastic surfing and incredible catamaran whale-watching tour chances if you decide to stay in Tenerife's south.
5. Similan Islands, Thailand
The Similan Islands should be your next trip if you're seeking turquoise water with the possibility of seeing turtles when snorkeling or scuba diving.
With crystal-clear turquoise sea and immaculate white beach, the Similan Islands are a piece of heaven on earth. Several tourists travel to the Similan Islands from Phuket for the day.
While this is a lot of fun, I would highly recommend staying in a liveaboard so you can avoid the throng and truly appreciate these stunning islands.
6. Corralejo in Fuerteventura, Spain
I had my first surf camp in the Canary Islands town of Corralejo, and it will always have a particular place in my heart.
While the town is small, its town center is bustling with cafes, pubs, and businesses. You may visit the beaches all surrounding it (and the entire island, for that matter).
Certain beaches will be protected from the wind and tide while others will have large surfing waves. It's the ideal location for taking a surf lesson and picking up some water sports!
7. San Blas Islands, Panama
San Blas is the place to go if you're looking for secluded islands and isolated beaches. There are over 365 islands to select from, all free of development and throng saw elsewhere.
Because of the lack of an alternative overland route, it's also a fantastic method to travel between Colombia and Panama. It really is an unspoiled paradise!
Join a 1-night San Juan Islands trip for a really unique experience where you'll spend the night sleeping in a sea hut on the beach (on top of exploring beautiful beaches).
8. Islas Marietas, Mexico
Check out our suggested beach spot if you're looking for a beach in Mexico!
Off the shore of Puerto Vallarta, are the Marieta Islands. The Hidden Beach, which consists of a number of islets with soft white sand and pure blue sea, is the area's most well-known feature.
A snorkel tour is one of the greatest methods to see the Islas Marietas since it will take you to see unusual landscapes and rocky tunnels as well.
There are numerous touristic beaches in Mexico, but there are a ton of more amazing beaches to discover outside Quintana Roo and popular destinations.
9. Weligama, Sri Lanka
Weligama Beach is one of my favorite beaches in the world, even if the water there isn't as clear as in some of the other places on our list.
With several restaurants and surf shops scattered around it, the beach exudes a very laid-back atmosphere.
In addition, the waves are quite lengthy and simple to ride, making them ideal for novice surfers. If you don't feel confident trying to surf on your own, you may enroll in a lesson like this one.
You may easily go from Weligama to the neighboring village of Mirissa, where you can go snorkeling with turtles.
10. Isla Saona, Dominican Republic
A speedboat ride to Isla Saona, an island off the coast of Santo Domingo, takes about one hour. The drive is entirely worthwhile since it leads to a stunning, unspoiled beach.
Think about the ideal Tropical beach. All of your assumptions and stereotypes will be fulfilled by Isla Saona. While people swim in the glistening blue ocean, tall palm palms provide shade along the white sand beach's edge.
11. Malindi Marine National Park, Kenya
Typically, when people think of Kenya, they picture safaris and hunting for the Big Five while driving over the savannah in a Land Rover.
White sand beaches and blue seas might not be what you anticipate.
We traveled to Malindi to unwind after spending a few days on safari in the Tsavo East National Park. The beaches and Marine Parks were wonderful, so I'm extremely pleased we did.
Malindi is a fantastic location for scuba diving because it has three coral reefs nearby.
12. Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia
One of Sydney's most famous and frequently captured sights is the pool at the Bondi Icebergs Club, which looks out over Bondi Beach.
Even though it was a large beach in a large city, it nevertheless maintained the laid-back atmosphere that little surf towns enjoy.
After a morning surf, you may get a bite to eat at one of the many fantastic eateries and small businesses that line the streets around Bondi Beach. never used a surfboard? Have a look at this two-hour surf lesson in Bondi!
You may visit some of the neighboring beaches and take the well-known coastline walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee.
Just keep in mind that Australia experiences winter during European summer, so if you want to experience it to the fullest, travel there during the summer season.
13. Grace Bay Beach, Turks, and Caicos
I traveled to Turks and Caicos to go scuba diving, but I ended up falling in love with the beaches. On Grace Bay Beach, we remained. Beautiful sea blues and snow-white beaches took my breath away.
The clarity was incredible, and the water was the ideal temperature (which also makes for amazing diving). Every cliché of the ideal Caribbean beach is realized here.

14. The Algarve, Portugal
The beaches in Portugal's Algarve region are among the most stunning you will ever see.
The Algarve coastline is renowned for its turquoise ocean, towering golden cliffs, and soft sand beaches, from the well-known ones like Praia da Marinha and Praia do Camilo to the lesser-known ones like Praia de Dona Ana.
In order to really enjoy these stunning beaches and see secret sea caves like Benagil Cave, any plan for Portugal must include at least five days in the Algarve.
What are you waiting for? Book a cozy lodging in the Algarve, rent a vehicle, and begin your road trip around the Portuguese coast in search of undiscovered coves, charming fishing villages, and pristine waters!
There are a few well-known excursions that I would strongly suggest doing to learn more about the Algarve.
We took a kayak excursion to Benagil Cave at sunrise, and I genuinely believe that skipping the throng is the best way to explore this magnificent sea cave.
If kayaking isn't your thing, you may join a speed boat trip like this one that will take you to view dolphins as well as the Benagil Cave.
Ponta da Piedade via boat from Lagos - One of the most beautiful sights you will ever see is the shoreline of Ponta da Piedade, and from the water, it seems even more amazing!
15. Playa Ancon, Cuba
The colonial architecture in Havana, Cuba's history, the horseback riding and trekking in Vinales, as well as Trinidad's charming old town center, were what I enjoyed most about the island nation.
There is no disputing, however, that Cuba has some absolutely gorgeous beaches.
We only had one beach day in our itinerary because we spent 10 days in Cuba right after a lengthy beach vacation and weren't really interested in visiting beaches. It's safe to say, however, that Playa Ancon was well worth it.
Playa Ancon, a 10-kilometer stretch of beach in Trinidad, is magnificent not only for its fine white sand and gorgeous blue sea but also because it was relatively empty at the time.
16. Gili Trawangan, Indonesia
An island with charming eateries scattered along the beach that is completely pedestrian-only and accessible only on foot or by horse cart is ideal for those seeking the ultimate laid-back beach atmosphere.
What more could you want when the ocean is turquoise and the beaches are white? Moreover, turtles that live around the shore may be easily reached by swimming on a snorkeling expedition from the beach.
By signing up for a 2-day tour like this one, you can get the most out of your trip to Gili Trawangan. What more could you want from a vacation than staying in a beachfront resort, swimming with turtles, and lounging on the sand?
17. Santa Teresa, Costa Rica
Costa Rica and Santa Teresa rapidly became one of my favorite spots in the world because of the town's relaxed and carefree vibe and the ideal surfing waves that were available all day.
Santa Teresa also offers the most amazing sunsets, which you can take in while relaxing on the beach with a drink or mojito.
Another option is to take a day excursion to the adjacent Isla Tortuga, where the water is cleaner and there are many of fish to see when snorkeling.
18. Mykonos, Greece
Paradise Beach and Beach Club in Mykonos is your go-to place for leisure throughout the day and partying into the night. It has smooth, white sand, brilliant blue water, great seafood, and some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet.
Since, as actress Nia Vardalos once observed, "In many respects, we are all sons and daughters of ancient Greece," put it on your beach bucket list.
There are a lot of enjoyable water sports you can participate in at Paradise Beach in Mykonos. There is something for everyone, whether they prefer flyboards or spin rings or banana boats, or parasailing.
19. Whitehaven Beach, Australia
Whitehaven Beach, which is in Australia's Whitsunday Islands, is a well-known destination for travelers who are making their way along the East Coast of Australia.
It might be difficult to get to Whitehaven Beach and the Whitsundays, so I've included some of the most well-liked trips for you to take.
20. Sardinia, Italy
I'll always prioritize visiting Sardinia in Italy when choosing a beach vacation spot.
While visiting the well-known islands of the Arcipelago della Maddalena, Sardinia's water is among the purest in all of Europe.
Picture pristine sand beaches and crystal blue water, both surrounded by Mediterranean plants and granite outcrops.
If you enjoy water activities, it's also one of the greatest places to practice windsurfing and sailing because of the windy weather. Sardinia is the ideal summer vacation location in Europe because of its stunning beaches.
A catamaran tour of the Maddalena Archipelago is one of the most amazing things to do if you're in the north of Sardinia. From the luxury of your catamaran, they will transport you to some of the most stunning beaches in the Mediterranean.
You'll go to the islands of Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria, and Razzoli. You'll swim in breathtakingly beautiful turquoise water and unwind on beaches with silky white sand.
In the summer, it may get quite crowded, but if you travel to Sardinia off-season, you can expect to have the beaches to yourself.
Sardinia is really one of my personal favorite summer beach places, so this is not to imply that summer is a poor time to come; just try to aim for June and early July and avoid the busiest summer months of August and September.
21. El Nido, Philippines
I recently traveled for three weeks to the Philippines, where I fell in love with the country's beaches.
Wherever we went, we discovered a beautiful white beach, crystal clear water, and sheer limestone cliffs that contributed to the area's picturesque appeal.
El Nido was my personal favorite island that we visited while beach hopping. El Nido had a far greater diversity of beaches and islets than Coron or other islands, in addition to fantastic snorkeling options.
It's the ideal summer beach vacation when combined with the town's laid-back and entertaining atmosphere. There are so many amazing island hopping trips available in El Nido that you can be sure you'll never get bored!
22. Siargao, Philippines
Siargao is another island in the Philippines that is noteworthy. Because Siargao is still mostly undiscovered by visitors, the islands and beaches aren't overrun by them.
That represents the laid-back island lifestyle to me. Although I didn't think the island's beaches were especially beautiful, a short boat ride away are several islands with great beaches and pristine sea.
This is the spot to go if you want a summer beach vacation away from the throng.
23. Sliema, Malta
Malta is a particularly sought-after vacation spot for travelers traveling to Europe because of its stunning beaches and year-round sunshine. The most well-liked vacation destination in the nation is Sliema. The town, which is in Malta's north, serves as a hub for neighboring world heritage sites and good beaches.
Malta, though, is a tiny island. Traveling throughout the island and seeing all the major sights, including Spinola Bay, St. John's Co-Cathedral, and Birgu Waterfront, is doable if you stay in Sliema.
24. Torremolinos, Spain
People don't typically think of cheap travel when they think about Spain. Also, Spain is often not a cheap place to travel. Yet, one of the most reasonably priced beach destinations in Europe is Torremolinos, Spain.
The beaches, nightlife, and LGBT activities in Torremolinos, Spain are outstanding. Malaga is also nearby.
25. Marmaris, Turkey
Marmaris is probably unknown to most Americans, yet it has long been a favorite vacation spot for Europeans. It is one of the most reasonably priced beach vacation spots in Europe because to the Turkish lira. The vacation destination has countless hotels, a buzzing nightlife, and outdoor clubs.
Travelers may also take advantage of the Marmaris Castle and Archaeological Museum, which highlights the town's lengthy history.
26. Dubrovnik, Croatia
Has Game of Thrones ever caught your attention? If so, Dubrovnik will be familiar to you from several scenarios. In addition to serving as a magnificent entryway to Croatia's world-class beaches, Dubrovnik is also the location of some of the best historic buildings on the continent.
History buffs will enjoy exploring Dubrovnik's Old Town and city walls. Even better, although it will probably adopt the Euro shortly, Croatia continues to utilize the extremely cheap Croatian Kuna.
27. Sunny Beach, Bulgaria
Due to the magnificent summer weather, affordable rates, and exciting nightlife, Sunny Beach, Bulgaria is one of the most well-known beach destinations in Europe. Go-kart courses, paintball, and water sports are also fantastic at Sunny Beach. In essence, it's a ton of fun at pricing lower than much of Europe.
Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is worth visiting if you're at Sunny Beach. 2000 years of Soviet, Greek, Ottoman, and Roman history are represented throughout the city. You can't go wrong if you visit Sofia while on your beach holiday.
28. Sarandë, Albania
Tourists don't typically consider Albania while planning a trip to Europe. Yet, Albania is a very affordable country with a ton of natural beauty and hot weather.
The most well-known beach destination in the nation is Sarand. Sarand, which offers lovely beaches and a wide selection of top-notch pubs and restaurants, is nestled between hills covered with olive orchards and the Ionian Sea. In addition, Sarand is home to several very magnificent historical buildings, such as the Lkursi Castle from the sixteenth century.
