8. Pai, Thailand
A stunning town where all hippie fantasies come true is located at 129 kilometers (80 miles) northwest of Chiang Mai. Pai, Thailand, caps it all off with a green forest and a quiet, long, meandering river. Pai is home to artists, wonderful residents, interesting hangouts, and a night market.

11. Xi’an, China
August is a suggested month to travel to since it's the coolest month in Xi'an (June, July, and August are the warmest months).
The Terracotta Warriors are the main attraction for many visitors to Xi'an, China, but there are many other things to see and do there as well.
